A scrotectomy means to remove the scrotum. This is generally performed in patients with natal male genitalia, along with an orchiectomy. Patient who elective to have this generally do not desire to pursue further bottom surgery. For those who do desire a future vaginoplasty, this procedure is not recommended. It removes skin that would generally be used at the time of a vaginoplasty in the future.
